The space left empty by the Korean war tank formerly in front of the Redoubt has been filled with a 600-pounder canon, it was lifted onto its purpose built oak carriage on Friday, April 8th.

The owners of Eastbourne’s pleasure boats, the Southern Queen and the William Allchorn are still hoping for Heritage Funds to save these fine vessels from decay and being lost as a prime visitor attraction on the seafront.
